How long is the hire period?

Our furniture hire period is 4 weeks + 4 weeks free (8 weeks total). The rental period can be extended, however it’s not usually required.

What is your lead time?

We usually require a minimum of 1 weeks notice to schedule the furniture installation for you. If urgent styling is required, we will always try our best to fit your schedule.

How much does property styling cost?
The cost varies depends on he furniture and accessories your property requires. The following prices can be used as a guide.

  2. Bedroom property from $3,600
  3. Bedroom property from $4,200
All our packages include consultation, furniture rental, delivery, installation and collection.
What are your payment terms?

We require full payment, along with a signed copy of our terms and conditions to secure an installation date. Please note, furniture will not be put on hold until all paperwork is returned and payment is received. Payments can be made by bank transfer and credit card. We also offer a delayed payment option “Pay Later”.

Can I select the furniture?

In our proposal, we will lists most of the items we intend to use in your property. As we are styling everyday, our stock is constantly changing so it’s hard to guarantee exactly what we’ll have available on any given day. If there’s a particular item you’ve seen on our Instagram page or website that you’d like to see use, please let us know and we’ll do our best to include it!

What happens if we sell early?

If your property sells before the end of the rental period, let us know and we will collect our furniture at a time that is convenient for you. We don’t offer refunds if furniture is collected early.

Can I live in my property while it is styled?
Sorry but no. To keep your property looking its best and to ensure that our furniture and homewares are kept in the best condition, it is best to not live in your home for the duration of Furniture hire.
Does Like Styling own their own property styling furniture?
Yes. All the furniture, artwork and soft furnishings you see on our website is owned by us. To ensure quality control, we do not sub hire from larger rental companies. Actually we have a furniture store in Sydney so that we make sure that our furniture is on-trend, in pristine condition and cleaned between each hire period.
How long does it take to stage a property?
It takes between 5 and 10 hours, depending on the size of the property and ease of access.
Can I use some of my own furniture in a staged property?
Yes. Using some of your own furniture is what is known as Partial Property Styling. Our partial property styling service is aimed at utilizing a vendor’s existing furnishings to enhance the presentation of your property for sale. This home staging service is perfect for vendors who are on a budget or cannot move some furniture out of their property.
When does my hire period start when my property is staged?
From the day we install.
How long does Like Styling take to issue a quote?
Usually our team sends styling quotations within 24 hours. In our busy periods it may take up to 48 hours to issue a quote.
